thinking about the billions executed at armageddon than the number who will be resurrected and probably the same percentage of them executed as well. then thinking how many witnesses aren't doing enough to make it . how many will be left standing at the very end. if 99.9% of a class fails who's fault is it? It's hard to believe that this quantity of executions is a success story.

Don't ask questions
by linp24 inseveral weeks ago, a witness poster said that the rank and file at his cong were told by elders not to ask questions.
i may have misunderstood what the poster was saying.
has anyone on the forum heard anything like this?

my experience is from the perspective of someone not raised in the org and w/o any previous connection and I was in my thirties so at first I asked alot of questions and it was ok. I didn't realize this situation would end. as time goes on you find yourself just going along unquestioning w/o realizing its happening. like being in a pot of water and the temp keeps going up and you don't notice till the pain begins and that's what happens. one day you find yourself bored and uninspired and you start getting that feeling thats something is wrong then you ask questions and start talking and people start getting uncomfortable around you and than the inquisition begins and you are summoned and in your attempt to settle the issue once and for all you do a massive research and what you discover sends you out the door for good.

Need some support
by ~Jen~ ini don't post very often but i'm in need of some support.. i left my husband and the jw's back in the summer.
we have 3 kids and have joint custody of them.. i've spoken to my family once - back in the fall and it was a great conversation - my parents (dad is an elder) said that they just wanted me to be happy however that is.. last week i got a voicemail from my mom saying that she loved me and thought about me every day.
i was so happy.

jen you left that situation for a good reason if you return you'll remember why you left you need to protect yourself and your children. I'm sorry its so hard and heart breaking their under the control of the wtbs and are not seeing straight. limit your time with them their shooting at you right now and the best thing to do is duck and shield your children. stay strong we are all on your side.

ask someone if the watchtower and awake are inspired the same as the bible and if so when did holy spirit take over at the beginning and if it is not what happens to a person at the hall who does not agree with something written in it. they say its not when their wrong but they act like it is especially at the watchtower study.

it's because witnesses are on a time clock. the hamster wheel is rolling and theres no time for friendship unless you can count the time the secret is to ignore the directive to stop a study thats not making progress. I kept them as friends continued to count the time and never forced them to do anything now that I have left their the only friends I have except for my husband we left together and another friend who also left. It's not entirely that witnesses are cold and unloving it's the pressure from the org to play that game.
